How does it works?
Thread lifting is a highly effective, minimally invasive technique to gently tighten and rejuvenate the facial skin. Using fine threads placed beneath the surface under local anesthesia, the procedure creates a subtle lift by repositioning the tissues in the desired direction.
A thread lift is a non-surgical alternative to facelift surgery, designed to lift and firm the skin while restoring a youthful appearance. Beyond the immediate lifting effect, it also stimulates natural collagen production, resulting in skin that is firmer, more elastic, and more radiant over time.
For enhanced and longer-lasting outcomes, thread lifting is often combined with complementary treatments such as a liquid facelift and botulinum toxin injections, ensuring a more harmonious and refreshed overall result.
The results of a thread lift last between 6 to 12 months. Unlike surgical lifts, which are permanent, thread lifts offer a temporary solution.
There is minimal downtime with thread lifts. You can expect some swelling for 24-48 hours, but you can usually resume work within this time frame. The final result is typically visible within one week, with significant results seen in 2 to 5 months.
Pain during the thread lift procedure is almost non-existent due to the use of local anesthesia. Post-operative pain is usually minimal and often responds well to over-the-counter pain relievers like Dafalgan.
• Stop smoking one month before the procedure to reduce the risk of skin complications.
• Avoid taking Aspirin 10 days before the procedure.
• Take Arnica capsules 5 times a day for 5 days before the procedure to prevent bruising.
• Secondary displacement of the thread if the area is stimulated too strongly within the first 7 days.
• Possible bruising or hematoma, typically resolving within 4 to 5 days.
• Temporary asymmetry or discreet folds in the skin, which usually disappear within 7 days.
• Infection, which is often treatable with antibiotics and local care. In rare cases, the threads may need to be removed.
Ideal candidates are individuals in their late 30s to early 50s experiencing early signs of aging. It’s also suitable for those who prefer a non-surgical option and have realistic expectations about the subtlety of the results. This treatment not only gives the
“lifting effect” but also makes the skin produce collagen and hydratates as the threads of hialuronic are being reabsorbed. The skin quality also significanntly improves during the months of effect.

• Do not use makeup for several days.
• Avoid face moisturizer for a few weeks.
• Sleep in a propped-up position.
